Tea drinking is not just a habit, it’s a lifestyle and who knows it better than us tea lovers! There is nothing more interesting and fun than exploring the complex world of tea tasting and learning how to do it right.
The Tea Shelf is immensely happy to announce a Tea Tasting Workshop which will give you the opportunity to learn about the art of tea tasting. The workshop will be held by our very own tea tasting expert and sommelier.
What It Includes: The workshop will be a perfect setting for you to become familiar with the vast range of tea blends offered by us and learn about the traditional brewing methods.
At the beginning of each session, participants will be provided a detailed report explaining different aspects of tea like its production, harvesting, types etc. Moving forward, participants will be taught about different brewing and tasting methods like weighing the teas, measuring the water temperature, slurping etc by our expert Tea Taster.
Later in the day, participants will get to experience some of our blends using traditional tasting kits giving them an opportunity to explore the flavours exactly how we do in the estates!
Our Tea Sommelier and host of the workshop will conclude the session by helping you create three of your own tea blends to take home with you, designed, named and packed exclusively by you!
