When your bodily systems are working at top-notch capacity, it’s a bonus to overall health, isn’t it? And guess who does this work best? Our Green Tea!
It’s loaded with antioxidants that improve brain functioning, helps in fat loss and reduces the risk of bad breath.
Brown, golden, pale yellow, bright green, or dark green in colour, its flavour profile can range from grass-like and toasted (pan-fired) to vegetal, sweet and seaweed-like (steamed). If brewed correctly, most green tea should be quite light in colour and only mildly astringent.
What makes it great?
Green tea is loaded with antioxidants that not only boost immunity but also protect us against cough and flu. It aids in maintaining a healthy heart and body. To help you feel better, lose weight, and lower your risk of chronic diseases, you may want to consider making green tea a regular part of your life.
- Boil one cup of water at 70-85°C.
- Use one tea bag per cup of hot water.
- Stir the tea once, and then let it steep for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Stir again halfway through.
- Remove the tea bags.
- Your tea is now ready to drink!
Brewing it correctly means that it will have a bitter taste or sour flavour that is off-putting, but if you’d like a sweeter taste, add a teaspoon of honey and stir well before drinking.
Ingredients: Green Tea
Green, yellow or light brown in colour, Green Tea has a bittersweet aftertaste and it is earthier and more vegetal in flavour than our other herbal teas.
