What’s better than the Monsoon season! ‘Chai’ and ‘Baarish’ , the inseparable twins, are ready to make your monsoon just perfect. The Balcony undoubtedly wins the best spot for relishing tea during the monsoons. The aroma of the tea leaves mixed with the petrichor is just therapeutic. If during this beautiful time your tea isn’t on point, the exhilaration dies away instantly.

1.Lemongrass tea: Housed mainly in South India, lemongrass is a stress-relieving ingredient which helps to calm your nerves rapidly. Lemongrass tea has a very refreshing aroma just fit for this season. Monsoon season is also prone to certain infections but this tea is a protective shield for you. It not only fights infections but also boosts your immunity.


First boil the water and then add in your tea leaves and let it stir for a while. Once the tea leaves are infused and bubbles arise, turn the gas down and enjoy your perfect cup of lemongrass tea.

HOT TIP:  To sweeten it very slightly, add a drop of honey instead of any type of sugar.

It is one of the oldest beverages handed down to us by our ancestors. Everyone has their own way of making ginger tea and hence it is widely consumed in India.


      There are various flavors of ginger tea. It comes in flavors like tulsi, turmeric, rose etc. Get your hands on any of these and infuse them in boiling water. It's completely optional to add milk to it. Bring it to a stir and add sugar if you want. After this, your monsoon-friendly tea is ready.
